Structural Drying Prices Simplified
Have you ever tried to get an estimate for drying a flooded basement over the phone? It's almost impossible! Restoration companies insist on coming out to look at the damage, or they give you a wild ballpark figure that is nowhere close to the actual bill at the end of the job.
Why it is Complicated
To be fair, it is difficult to give an estimate for water damage in the industry as it is today; especially when insurance companies are involved. Most drying companies and insurance adjusters use a computer program that has standardized pricing. This software requires you to enter every service and every item that was touched in the restoration process. Remove a baseboard? That's a line item. Move a box? That's another line item. In order to give an accurate estimate of costs, the restoration contractor must know all those line items.
A Better Way?
After more than a decade of dealing with this system, we thought that there must be a better way; a simpler way. We re-examined everything, from the current price of water damage restoration work to the cost of doing business. We discovered that we could make flood paperwork easier, and we could charge less for it!
Pricing Simplified
Chem-Dry Express is happy to announce that we will now be charging $2.50 per square foot for water damage restoration. That's not an estimate, that's what it will cost! Our customers will no longer need to worry about after hours charges or whether we need to leave the equipment running for an extra day. This is incredibly simple pricing for all that's included!
